Ask Gareth is a moderated professional community. This policy sets out what is expected and how moderation works.
Public discussion
Anyone can post questions and comment in open areas. All posts are subject to anti-spam controls, keyword filtering and moderator review. Off-topic, abusive or promotional posts may be edited, labelled or removed.
Contributor content
Articles, professional opinions and sector guidance require vetted contributor status and editorial review. Automatic publishing by unvetted members is not allowed.
Promotional content
Promotional content is controlled and clearly labelled. Sponsored placements, advertorials and partner content are marked as such. Undeclared promotion may be removed.
Report, flag and appeal
Every post has report and flag controls. Moderator decisions can be appealed by contacting the Ask Gareth editorial team.
What we don't do
