Start with the buyer's framework
Every major construction buyer runs their PQQ through a variant of PAS 91 or a proprietary system (Constructionline Gold, Achilles Building Confidence, sector portals). Map your response to the buyer's framework rather than sending a generic pack.
Core evidence that always applies
- SSIP-recognised H&S scheme (CHAS Elite/Advanced, SafeContractor, Acclaim, etc.).
- ISO 45001 or a demonstrable H&S management system.
- ISO 9001 or a quality management system with project handover evidence.
- ISO 14001 or an environmental management system with waste and carbon data.
- Insurance certificates that match the buyer's minimum limits.
- Financial standing evidence (Dun & Bradstreet or equivalent).
What sets responses apart
Buyers see the same certificates from every bidder. What differentiates is the narrative — how you use the management system to prevent incidents, deliver on time and reduce carbon on the buyer's projects specifically. Case studies with real numbers beat generic policy statements every time.
